Hannah Marie Smith, formerly known as Hannah Marie Craton, is an Atlanta local actress who has many passions for her craft, teaching, exploring, and caring for others.

Hannah is a BFA Musical Theatre grad of Reinhardt University and a Horzion Appco alumni. She grew up in Dallas, GA and started her professional acting career in Atlanta in 2016. As a queer actress, she found her start here by being involved with LGBTQIA+ inclusive theatre and she loves being able to represent her community in that way.

Most recently, she was able to perform in two dream shows. First, she played perfect princess Pamela in Head over Heels at Marietta Theatre Company. Then, a week later, she started the process for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Aurora Theatre, where she understudied the legendary role of Carole King. In this role, she had to bring forth her piano skills, because Aurora's Carole King played and sang live! Both shows were challenging and incredible experiences that she is very thankful for.

You may have seen her perform in other shows around town in roles such as Sister Mary Downey (Disaster), Sister Mary Hubert (Nunsense), Rebecca (It Shoulda Been You), Velociraptor of Science (Triassic Parq), and many others. She also featured in many cabarets and concerts during the course of the ongoing pandemic like She's a Rebel with BUICEntennial, Ladies of the 80's with Independent Artists' Playhouse, Chromatic or Miscast cabaret at Out Front Theatre, Monster Mash at Aurora Theatre, and the Valentine's Day cabaret at Stagedoor Theatre.

Hannah also enjoys being involved in new works. Hannah has debuted many roles during her time in Atlanta, like Amber in Red: A Crayon's Musical, the Hard Rock Chick in Ladies of the 80's, and other roles in the 10 minute plays at Horizon Theatre Company.

In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, shooting the hooch with her wife, and petting dogs!
